Check Your Eligibility
Before you begin your journey as a pilot, make sure you meet all the necessary requirements. These include educational qualifications, age criteria, and medical fitness standards set by the aviation authority of your training country. In India, this is regulated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Choose your License
Decide on your objective, whether you aim for a Private Pilot License (PPL) or a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). Choose a training program that aligns with your goals and requirements. Ark27 Aviation offers various ab initio programs to help you achieve your PPL or CPL efficiently.
DGCA Computer Number
The Computer Number is a vital element in every pilot’s journey. Issued by the DGCA, it serves as a unique identifier for registering for DGCA examinations and any official communication with the Central Examination Office. The application process can take over a month, and gathering the required documents as per DGCA’s stringent guidelines can be a time-intensive task. At Ark27 Aviation, students must possess either a valid Computer Number or the necessary documentation while applying.

Complete the application form on ARK27 AVIATION website. Application date updates are available on the website. The form requires detailed information, including educational qualifications, a Medical Examination certificate, and other essential documents.
ARK27 Aviation Application Process
As you move to the next stage, based on the program you apply for, you will be invited to the Ground School at Olympia Technology Park, Guindy, Chennai, for further evaluation. The final step involves an interview with the ARK27 AVIATION admission panel and participation in Group Discussions. Upon successfully completing the application process, you will receive your reporting date for induction into the Ground School.
Ground School
Building a strong foundation is essential for your aviation journey. This phase focuses on in-depth theoretical knowledge, preparing you for DGCA exams. You will study subjects like Air Regulations, Navigation, and more. At ARK27 AVIATION, this training, along with successfully passing your DGCA examinations, typically takes 5-6 months to complete.
